40 (70) 95 (105) 130 yards total of worsted weight yarn.

For stripes, you’ll need about 10 grams / 25 yards of a worsted weight yarn for each stripe.

We used 1 skein of for the main color (but you can substitute any solid worsted weight yarn – we love our for an extra soft and squishy hat).

NEEDLES
US 7 / 4.5 mm 16” circulars & either double pointed needles, or long circulars for the magic loop method

4.5 stitches & 7 rows per inch in stockinette stitch when working in the round

TECHNIQUES USED
Casting on, joining to work in the round, knitting, adding a new ball of yarn, carrying yarn up the back of your work, using markers, knit two together (k2tog), working in the round on small circumferences using double pointed needles or long circulars and the magic loop method, closing the top of a hat, weaving in ends.
